A blacklist is a list of IP-addresses which are known to sent unsollicited email, like spam email. If your IP-address is listed on the Vevida blacklist, it is not possible to send emails to our clients. You’re message will be bounced from our mailservers, and you receive a notification. This is an example of such a notification:
This is the mail system at host example.com. I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below. For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster. If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the attached returned message. Why is my IP-address listed on the Vevida blacklist?
We continuously scan and monitoring our incoming stream of email. If we detect spam to any of our clients from a specific IP-address, we block the address from sending any more spam emails by adding the address to the blacklist.
How can I remove my IP-address from the Vevida blacklist?
If the source of the spam emails is properly dealt with, you can request removal of your IP-address from the Vevida blacklist. You can use the following form. We reserve the right not to honor your removal request.
