The “Internet Information Services (IIS) 7 Manager” can be used to configure certain components of your website on the server side. For this, your website must be hosted on a Windows Server 2008 server. These are all web servers with a number greater than or equal to 129 (for example: net3-nl-iis-129 or net3-nl-iis-130).
You can find this information in MyVEVIDA under website settings.
In order to install this program, you must have access to a computer with Windows 7, Windows Vista (Service Pack 1), Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or Windows Server 2003, with Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 or higher.
Download: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=32c54c37-7530-4fc0-bd20-177a3e5330b7&displaylang=en and select the appropriate version.
For Windows 7 and Windows Vista, you must have the Internet Information Services 7.0 Management Console installed.
Control Panel -> Programs -> Turn Windows features on or off -> Internet Information Services -> Web Management Tools -> tick IIS Management Console
You must have Service Pack 2 installed on Windows XP and Service Pack 1 on Windows Server 2003.
Windows 7 and Windows Vista
After installation, you can launch the Information Services (IIS) 7.0 Manager by typing “inetmgr.exe” in the search box in the start menu.
Windows XP and Windows Server 2003
After installation, you can launch Information Services (IIS) 7.0 Manager via de shortcut in the Programs (or All Programs) section of the start menu.
Connect to website
Start Internet Information Services (IIS) 7 Manager
- Connections -> Connect to a Site
- Server Name: yourdomainname.nl
- Site Name: yourdomainname.nl
- click Next
- User name: FTP username, yourdomainname.nl
- Password: FTP password *******
- click Next
- Accept certificate (“Connect“)
- Connection Name: something recognizable, such as yourdomainname.nl
Features view: View and configure all manner of settings in IIS
Content view: view files, folders and application folders
