Web server and database servers
We use powerful and up-to-date DELL PowerEdge R610 servers with 2 Quad Core Intel Xeon Processors, 8GB RAM and 900 GB storage (RAID 5, 4 x 300 GB hard drives).
VEVIDA owns all its servers and is responsible for their management. We do not use external companies for this. More information about our data centre, network and security can be found on the infrastructure page.
You can hire a Windows web server with us as well as an MS SQL or MySQL database server.
For our shared hosting, we use separate web servers, email servers and database servers. We recommend this for optimal performance and security of your dedicated servers. We will be happy to explain why.
Of course, you can also choose to have one specific task run on a dedicated server and the other tasks in our professional shared hosting environment. For example, if you have a very high-traffic website or web shop, if your website is of critical importance, if you have especially heavy security requirements, or if you want more control over the components to be installed. We’ll be happy to work with you to find the best way to implement dedicated servers.
